Keystone Cattle Company uses our Sister Company "Mountain Man Mobile Processing LLC".

They are a Custom Exempt butcher shop, which means that they may only process for the owner for the animal, and all of the packaging must be marked:

"NOT FOR SALE"

(Federal law prohibits the resale of Beef processed under this exemption.)

There is a way around this however:

Beef may be purchased through us if the animal cost is paid directly to the owner of the animal (Keystone Cattle Co.)

This means that several individuals purchase a cow together, and we have it processed for them. Payment for the animal is due when you place the order, and the processing fees are paid to the butcher when you pick up.

A Quarter is 120-125 lbs of beef, and provides a minimum of 50% ground beef, maximum 30% roasts, and maximum 20 % steaks.

Each person must submit a cut sheet (instructions for the butcher) for their own portion of the animal, allowing them to order the meat to their specs.
